Attorney J. David Pobjecky
David received a BBA in economics from Baylor University then a Juris Doctorate at Baylor School of Law in 1977. In 1978 David received a Masters Degree in Tax Law (LLM) from the University Of Florida School Of Law. Prior to entering law school, he served in the U.S. Army for almost ten years as an officer and a helicopter pilot with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was an honor graduate of the University of Southern California’s military course in aviation safety and management (charge of aircraft accident investigations, etc.) Decorations included three distinguished flying crosses and three bronze stars. He obtained the rank of Major in the USAR.
David has taught business law and accounting courses (undergraduate and postgraduate) at both Florida Southern and St. Leo Colleges. He has given free seminars on both taxes and estate planning for both commercial and charitable organizations. He has helped form charitable organizations and currently sits on the board of directors for Woodland Wonders Wildlife Rehabitation Services, Inc. Social organizations include the Knights of Columbus, and life member of Disabled American Veterans.
Besides bankruptcy and estate planning, he does will and trust litigation, personal injury law and tort claims. He has done asset forfeiture cases both in the tax arena as well as against government abuses (cited in the congressional record). He believes every case has tax consequences since there are
TWO THINGS ONE CAN NOT AVOID – DEATH AND TAXES – WITH THE FORMER EVEN BEING TAXED BY THE GOVERNMENT.

Attorney A. Renee Pobjecky
Renee has represented her clients on a variety of immigration issues ranging from investment visas to family based immigration matters. She currently represents immigrants before the Immigration Courts in Orlando and Miami.
Renee is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science and minors in English and Business Administration. In 2001, she received her Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law.
Renee is a member of the International Section of the American Bar Association and is active in the Winter Haven Women’s Bar Association. She currently serves on the Board of Director’s for the Polk County Florida Rural Legal Services and was a 2006 and 2008 recipient of the Pro Bono Attorney Outstanding Participation Award from Florida Rural Legal Services and the Lakeland Bar Association.
In 2008 she was the moderator for the panel on Waivers at the annual conference for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Renee has been appointed by the Florida Supreme Court to serve a three-year term on the Florida Bar Standing Committee on the Unlicensed Practice of Law.
Renee is licensed to practice law in Florida and Texas.
